QPWS is proud to present Norbert Lenz, talking about ‘Bowerbirds and their unique Mating Strategy’, at O’Reillys theatrette.

Older members of GMNHA may remember Norbert Lenz, who did his PhD studies on the regent bowerbird in Lamington between 1992 and 1994, while staying in one of the houses on Kamarun ridge. His book The Evolutionary Ecology of the Regent Bowerbird was published in 1999.

Members weekend. Get micro-batty and celebrate Xmas with us.

Learn about Microbats of Lamington NP, with a show and tell from Melanie Venz – zoologist with QLD Dept of Environment and Science. Mel has been trapping and surveying the micro-bats of Green Mountains for many years now and provides a fascinating insight into these tiny creatures of the forest.
